THESE ARE HANDS ON SESSIONS

SESSION 3 - Registration Workshop (April 28th, 2021) 2 hrs

The supplier registration system (SRI) is a database of registered companies interested in selling to the federal government. By registering in SRI, businesses make their company's name and supply capabilities widely known to federal departments and agencies, who may use the system to identify sources of supply for the goods and services they buy. This workshop is a hands on with the goal of participants being fully registered at the end.

SESSION 4 - Security Clearance (May 6th, 2021) 1.5hrs

Explore how Public Services and Procurement Canada’s (PSPC) Contract Security Program (CSP) can help private sector organizations participate in Government of Canada as well as foreign government contracts. Learn about the government security screening processes including the types and levels of security required to safeguarding sensitive information, assets and work sites.

SESSION 5 - Finding Federal Opportunities (Buy and Sell and More) May 12, 2021 2hrs

An interactive workshop. Participants will see a live demonstration of the buyandsell.gc.ca website which will give them key information to navigate the site. Break out rooms for goods, services and construction where procurement professionals from the government of Canada will search for live tender opportunities based on what they sell. You will be guided through the system to find procurement opportunities specific to YOUR business.
