Exporting is not a leap. It is a sequence.

This program puts your business in the right order.

The Export Method Incubator is the first stage of the Export and Specialty Pathway. It is built on one idea: expansion is the foundation of every growing business, and export is how that expansion is built, step by step.

It is not a lecture series about exporting. You work on your own business in every session, using your own numbers, and leave with a plan that is yours.

What we mean by export

In this program, export means expanding your business into new markets, one step at a time. Selling in another country is the destination. It is not the starting point. Every step before it builds the skills, systems and proof that make international trade possible.

Step 1

Regional

Grow beyond your home community into the wider region, with new customers, new retailers and new distribution.

Step 2

Interprovincial

Sell across provincial borders. You meet new rules, new buyers and new logistics, with the same currency and the same trade framework.

Step 3

International

Enter markets such as the Caribbean and Africa, with the compliance, pricing and buyer relationships already tested at home.

Businesses that skip steps often meet the hardest requirements first. The Export Method Incubator helps you see which step you are on, what the next one demands, and how to take it.

What you walk away with

An Export Development Roadmap, drafted with you across the six weeks and reviewed by our export strategist. It covers:

  • Your readiness baseline. An honest view of where your business stands today.
  • Your target market. Where you will expand first, and why it is the right place to start.
  • Your compliance checklist. What you need in place to sell legally and safely in that market.
  • Your sector timeline. The real lead times, certifications and seasons that apply to your industry.
  • Your milestone sequence. The steps, in order, from your first move to your next market.
  • Your first move. One action you can take the week the program ends.

The six weeks

Weeks one to four are the foundation for every participant. Weeks five and six follow the track for your sector.

Week 1

What Exporting Is and Brand Readiness

Learn how expansion works from regional to international, and test whether your brand and business are ready for it.

Week 2

Choosing Your Market

Compare markets with real criteria and choose where to go first.

Week 3

Getting Compliant, Then Checking Your Readiness

Work through the rules, documents and standards your market requires, then check your readiness before you commit. The result is a clear Go, Prepare or Pause.

Week 4

Relationships, Pricing and Closing the Cycle

Set pricing that holds up in a new market, plan how you will find and keep buyers, and pull your draft roadmap together.

Weeks 5 and 6

Your Sector Track

Go deeper on the timelines, certifications and channels that apply to your industry. We assign you to the track that fits your business.

What happens after week six

Nine months of support

Each month you join a group mastermind with your cohort. You also meet one to one with our team to check progress on your roadmap, solve what has come up, and decide the next step.

The next stage

Graduates are prepared to apply for the Market Growth Accelerator, then move toward broker support, the Trade Commissioner Network, trade missions and direct buyer contact.

The aim is simple. When the nine months end, your business is ready to sell in other regions and provinces, and ready to take part in interprovincial trade missions with confidence.
