Trish Mandewo is a multi award-winning serial entrepreneur, Diversity & Inclusion strategist, Author, sought-after speaker and Coquitlam City Councillor. She is the Founder and CEO of Synergy Executive & Boards Consulting Group, a company that supports the advancement of Black, Indigenous and Visible minority subject matter experts and senior-level executives seeking to take their voices and expertise to the boardroom, c-suite and other decision-making tables. She also co-founded Women’s Collaborative Hub, a nonprofit whose mandate is to empower women and girls.
A former Microbiology and Embryology professional now turned entrepreneur, Trish has successfully built and sold 3 businesses over 27 years. She has extensive board experience from over a dozen public, private, and non-profit boards. Following her belief that knowledge is valuable when shared with others, Trish authored “Growth Strategies for the Hungry Entrepreneur”. She also shares her knowledge through public speaking and as a Mentor in Residence for SFU Charles Chang Institute of Entrepreneurship.
